Quinn Alexander McVeigh, reporting intern
Residing in Tucson, Ariz., McVeigh looks to spend his time with EHN shedding light on some of the pressing issues facing the desert, but also wants to expand his knowledge on the environmental risks facing forest biodiversity, U.S. coastal communities and marginalized populations.
As a student in journalism and environmental studies at the University of Arizona, McVeigh has been able to practice many different forms of writing, from scientific to the classic grade-school MLA style, but none gets him more excited than news writing. After interning with multiple nonprofits as well as a Tucson news organization, McVeigh's interest in EHN goes beyond just the writing, as he also wants to expand his knowledge on the management of nonprofits.
